Common Fleetwatch Jargon

identifying acronyms and jargon with the Fleetwatch system

1. JX - The J relates to the J708, and J1939 protocols and the X represents the two protocols the device supports. JX55, JX200, and JX200 Pro are common model names.

2. FFMS - Fuel and Fluids Management System.

3. TLS - usually means Tank Level System but for the IT crowd, TLSv1.3 is supported.

4. MR55 - a large device with keypad and display used to read and program the JX. Comes with detachable battery.

5. TX - the transceiver box which connects to the JX data logger box. The TX talks to the FR receivers.
